The Fort

Today was my first official ride on Moon. I first worked her on the ground getting her to turn her hindquarters away from me and her shoulder away from me. Then I got her to flex her head back and forth till she was softer and gave to the pressure. After that I did some lunging getting her transitions from a walk to a trot and a trot to a canter good. Then after doing that for A bit I then Got on her again. at the start it went well she was going good every thing was good she was trotting when i asked and slowing down. Then I stopped her because I was talking to my mom. While I was talking to my mom I went to pet her neck and I got off balance and she did a little scoot and I came off. it was all good she didn't do anything wrong but now I know what I need to work on with her. so I cleaned myself up and got back on and worked with her to get her calm again. Then we went for a trail ride to the Fort my grandma Debbie Ek and her friends made. I would tell you where it is but it's top secret! For the trail ride I rode Storm and ponied Moon, mom rode Faith again and Shan rode Paris again also. It was a really good ride. that's how day two went with little miss Moon on her second day with me, and if you ask me it went pretty well!
