DR. JOANNA KOUWENBERG

- Veterinarian 

Dr. Joanna Kouwenberg is originally from Prince George BC, but completed High School in Abbotsford, BC. Joanna attained an Animal Science Degree at U.B.C and her Veterinary degree an W.C.V.M. in Saskatoon SK, later doing an equine internship at Gilbert, Arizona. She went on to practice as an equine veterinarian in Colorado Springs, CO.
Joanna and her family have been in Cranbrook since 2009, where she joined the Tanglefoot veterinary team in the spring of 2013. During her time off she enjoys the company of her husband and 2 boys, she can often be found riding the trails on her horse Smoke, cross country skiing and simply enjoying the amazing outdoor activities that the Kootenay region has to offer.
