Free Spirit Ranch is hosting a natural horsemanship driving clinic again this year. We all learned a great deal last year, including the secret to preventing those horrible driving crashes!

Our instructor is Nate Bowers from Bowers Farm in Ft. Collins - the home of natural driving. Pat Parelli hired Nate to personally work with the Parelli driving team in prep for the Savvy Conference. He has a lifelong experience with teaching driving and training horses taught to him by his father, Steve Bowers. Nate says they have the fastest and safest method to get a horse to hitch, because they make sure the horse is ready mentally and emotionally - force is not used. Even experienced drivers and horses will learn from him. Some of the techniques he uses I've never seen in a driving clinic before - very interesting.

You need to bring your own horse and equipment. If you don't have a harness or cart, that's OK. Nate will work with you and your horse up to the point of hitching. Safe driving is all about the preparation work!!

All levels of experience are welcomed. Nate can work with a mixed group.

Registration fees must be received before July 1, 2010. To reserve your space in this 3-day clinic, send a $200 deposit asap. These deposits will be held until July 1, and then they will be processed.

Cancellation policy: there are no refunds for cancellations after July 1, unless the clinic is full and another student can replace your spot.
