Location: 18 miles West of Pueblo, CO

Dates: June 13, 2010 (ground) and June 27, 2010 (riding)

Cost: $95 per clinic, $180 for both clinics

Times: 10 am - 4 pm

Prerequisite for June 27th clinic: the first clinic may be taken independently. However, students must take the June 13th ground-work clinic before riding in the June 27th clinic. The first clinic covers learning all the basics of despooking from the ground. In the second clinic, what was learned in the ground work clinic will be applied while riding.

Despooking your horse is one of the most important keys to having a safe and responsive horse. This comprehensive clinic will greatly advance your knowledge and skills for despooking your horse.

In these clinics you will learn - why horses spook, categories of "spooks", progressive desensitization, techniques for despooking, and understanding and reading your horse's behavior during despooking. And of course, we will be doing a lot of despooking with your own horses. By the end of the clinics each student will leave a recommendation for a best despooking approach based on your horse's personality. Jessee use natural horsemanship plus additional positive reinforcement.

Send registration fee by June 1. Payments will be held until June 1, after which payments will be processed.

Cancellation policy: there are no refunds for cancellations after June 1, unless the clinic is full and another student can replace your spot.
