Dante

Dante is a Paso Fino, beautifully gaited, bay gelding, approximately 25 years old, although he has the boundless energy of a young horse. He's a gentlemen on the ground with cleaning and trimming feet, leading, tying, respecting your space, and trailering. In typical Paso Fino style he has a lot of energy under saddle and we are currently working on developing a walk and slow button. He does have a slight swayback than requires some special saddle padding. He is incredibly smooth to ride and a lot of fun. He should have many good years ahead of him. He needs to have someone that can bond with him as he is currently very horse bonded and will bond with any horse he spends time with. In time, we hope he will become more human bonded. His teeth show their age, but he does very well on senior feed and grass hay pellets. He is very sound.

Chance

Chance is a very adorable mustang gelding, that will be 3 yrs old in April 2008. We call him a buckskin pinto with beautifully placed markings and even has a "circle" marking on his left side. He loves people and has had a lot of handling on the ground. He ties, grooms, bathes, trailer loads, likes to play with other horses, and is good for the ferrier. He has a low to medium spirit level. He's already been saddled once and did quite well. We will continue preparing him for riding, but won't do much riding this year - we want him to mature a bit more first. He's been taught ground games and is good with obstacles. He is very ready to go to a home that will love him and continue his training. He is very sound and healthly. We expect he will mature to 14.3 hands. Price is negotiable if you can provide a good home.
